A Day Without a Snake

...is a good day.
Dax, Garrett and I went for a morning run.

I had my eyes peeled. No snakes spotted.

I did find a clutch of turkey poults before the dogs did.  Four of them being quiet as can be.

Next, we spied a snapping turtle the size of a fat Beagle laying eggs.

Then we ran by the geese and their goslings.  (Picture from a few days ago when I wasn't tethered to the maniac who almost dragged Garrett and I into the water).
Looking forward to more snake-free days on the trails!
